Research is an important area for development at JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida. A research environment has been created wherein academic staff and research scholars are encouraged to engage with research as a process, drawing support from the Research Office aiming for excellence in research output. We believe that research is vital and must be carried out to get following advantages:.

A culture of research is of paramount importance to the future strategic development of JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida which lays the foundations for strengthening the bridge between teaching and research. JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida is committed to develop a thriving community of researchers that impacts upon both higher education and the wider society.

The purpose of the R&D Cell is to establish a vibrant research atmosphere among academic staff and inculcate research aptitude among the students. It also provides framework for the growth and implementation of research activities at JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida (JSSATEN). It aims to create research aptitude and ethical values for conducting quality research to solve contemporary challenging problems and thereby helping to accomplish the Vision and mission of the college.

The R&D Cell forms the basis for the conduction of the research in the college and will assist the functioning of the Research Office of the college. The aim is to inspire, guide and coordinate the initiatives of faculty members pursuing research towards submission of major and minor research projects, organizing of national and international conferences/Workshops/FDPs, submission of research papers and their publication in reputed journals, and similar other research-related matters. An Institutional R&D Cell with the following members has been constituted.

• To create and promote a culture of research among the faculty and staff to achieve the vision and missions of JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida (JSSATEN).
• To ensure value, integrity and ethics in research..
• To publish research material in SCI/ Scopus/ WoS indexed journals and also to facilitate the presentation of the research work through academic events such as Workshops/ Seminars/ Conference.
• To identify and inform researchers about various research proposal calls by different funding agencies.
• To act as a facilitator by providing professional guidance and technical support for submission of research proposals to various funding agencies, submission and publication of patents and establishing consultancy with industry partners.
• To promote interdisciplinary research, provide guidance and support for preparing and undertaking joint research projects by establishing collaboration with external experts and publish the research findings in SCI/Scopus/ WoS indexed journal.
● To promote collaborations with International and national academic institutions of higher learning and promote linkage with Industry.

The following facilities are extended by the institution:
● Faculty members are encouraged to involve UG/PG student’s research projects
● Departments have established facilities with necessary software’s like Cadence, MATLAB, Optimizer, (to be mentioned other major software PAN Institute) etc. and has established Centre of Excellence with modern facilities for faculty members and students to do research in various domains.
● There shall be provision for the following categories of candidates for admission to Ph.D. Programs
● Full-Time: Candidates who shall pursue P.hD. program on full time basis
● Part-Time: In-service candidates having a minimum professional experience of one year after his / her PG Degree are eligible to pursue Ph.D. program on a part time basis. (Refer AKTU guidelines for more details).

Indexed Research Publications for the last five years

The candidates shall possess a Master’s Degree in Engineering / Technology from any Recognised University, with an eligible marks/ minimum CGPA as per AKTU.
